Process Followed By The Distillers To Produce Alcoholic Beverages

Alcoholic beverages are produced through the process of distillation of fermented plant or fruit juice or grains. The process is based on the natural process of fermentation where the organic material containing carbohydrates is decomposed.
The distillation process is based on the principle of the different boiling points of alcohol and water. When a liquid containing ethyl alcohol is heated and the vapour coming out of it is condensed then the condensate will have a higher concentration of alcohol.
Some examples of distilled drinks are whisky, rum, brandy, vodka, beer and rum. A Distillers is a person or a company that makes alcoholic beverages by distilling.
